This Week at FCC Sunday, February 19, 2012: Sunday School is at 9:45 am. Rev. Donna Kremer will tackle the Transfiguration of Jesus in her sermon entitled, "Mistaken Identity?" The scripture reading is Exodus 34:29-35 and Mark 9:2-10 Monday, February 20, 2012: Disciples Mission Food Pantry open from 9:00 am- 12:00 pm. Wednesday, February 22, 2012: Our Ash Wednesday Service will be at 6:30 pm in the Library. All are welcome to come and join in this service of repentance and preparation for Easter. Conversations is NOT meeting this Wednesday. ____________________ Choir Rehearsal meets in the Choir Room at 7:30 pm. Come and join in song! Saturday, February 25, 2012: Disciples Mission Food Pantry open from 9:00 am- 12:00 pm. Sunday, February 26, 2012: Sunday School is at 9:45 am. Rev. Jerry Gladson asks the question, "Who is Jesus?" The scripture readings are BOTH from the New Testament this Sunday. The scriptures are John 14:1-11 and 1 Peter 3:18-22. _____________________________________ Big Events Coming Up at FCC Ash Wednesday (February 22) marks the first day of Lent. Lent lasts 40 days, not including Sundays, and ends on Holy Saturday which is the day before Easter. Sunday, March 18, 2012: The ministers host a Visioning Retreat beginning after the 11:00 am service. This is a great opportunity to participate in the life of the church as well as learn what the church is all about!
